What do you get when you combine kids, fishing and the Great Smoky Mountains? Why, the Mountain Music Kids Fishing Tournament in Sevierville, of course! One of the largest fishing tournaments for kids in the nation, last year’s tournament had almost 400 parent/child teams from across the United States looking to claim first place.

Sponsored entirely by donations from individuals and businesses, this year’s tournament is July 26 at the Douglas Dam TVA Boat Ramp in Sevierville. For the past 24 years, the tournament has been an inspiration to children and their parents to get out and enjoy the great outdoors in East Tennessee.
